Iman Jafari pooyan
Iman Jafari Pouyan was born on August 02, 1972 in Tehran. He graduated from Tehran Music Academy in 1993. He started his professional activity as a musician in musical works in 1990 and after some time he started working with different orchestras. Due to his interest in jazz music, Iman Jafari Pouyan started playing the saxophone in addition to the clarinet and quickly became proficient in it to the point where he formed the first big band of jazz music after the 1979 Iranian revolution called “Imazh”.
